At Last - Etta James

Love this.

Love this.

Watched a terrific French film this evening (dir. Julie Gavras) called Blame it on Fidel! (or Le faute a Fidel!). It follows the life of a young girl in 1970s France whose parents adopt radical communism. Fascinating, moving and really rather brilliant. Recommended.

Tonight I finished one of the greatest novels I have ever read. The dark, hauntingly beautiful tale of Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë. If you haven’t read it do. If you have, read it again.

I’m tumblring…again.
A charming picture of Eileen Atkins as Lady Maud Hallam in the wonderful BBC series Upstairs Downstairs. She was my favourite character, without doubt. Her wardrobe was to die for.
